The HiTemp140-CF is ideal for precise heat penetration testing and is designed for reliable, in-depth temperature analysis.
Key Features:
The HiTemp140-CF combines the robust features of the standard HiTemp140 with added versatility for direct integration into canning processes. This high-precision temperature data logger, designed for harsh environments, is constructed from durable stainless steel and is submersible, making it ideal for use win heat penetration and temperature distribution testing in food processing. It can withstand temperatures up to +140 °C (+284 °F) and maintains an accuracy of ±0.1 °C (±0.18 °F).
This variant features a threaded end for seamless compatibility with both the CF202 Canning Fitting and the ThermaLock Canning Fitting, enhancing its utility in food processing applications. The HiTemp140-CF can store up to 32,256 readings and includes a rigid external probe that can measure temperatures up to +260 °C (+500 °F), with custom probe lengths available up to 7 inches. Equipped with non-volatile solid state memory, it ensures data retention even if the battery is discharged, recording date and time stamped readings. The HiTemp140-CF is perfectly suited for continuous use in both wet and dry environments up to +140 °C (+284 °F).
Explanation how it works :
The HiTemp140-CF datalogger is screwed into the CF202 or into a Thermalock. (both not included with logger, if you want all parts, by HPT system)
(You can not screw a Thermalock into a CF202).
You can use the systems in 2 ways :
1) HiTemp140-CF + CF202. The sensor of the datalogger enters the internals of the packaging.
This is recommended with dry foods and light weight packaging were no pressure is involved, like pouches and recart packaging
2) HiTemp140-CF + Thermalock. The thermowell enters the internals of the packalging.
The sensor of the dataloggers enters into the thermowell.
This is recommended with cans and bottles with fluids, where pressure can be involved.
